What’s the difference between Portrait and Editorial sessions?
Portrait Photography sessions focus on natural, polished images for personal or professional use. Editorial sessions are more story-driven and designed for publication, press, campaigns, or thought leadership with a stronger narrative approach.
Do you help with posing if I’m camera-shy?
Absolutely. Many of my clients feel nervous in front of the camera — it’s completely normal. I guide you through natural poses and expressions so you never feel awkward or unsure. Most clients leave saying they’re surprised by how comfortable the session felt.
Where do sessions take place?
Portrait Photography Sessions can take place anywhere around Washington DC area, depending on the look you want. We’ll discuss the best option during planning.
What should I wear to my photography session?
After booking, you’ll receive guidance on wardrobe, colors, and styling to ensure your clothing photographs well and aligns with your goals.
How many images will I receive?
Image delivery varies by session type and usage needs. Final selections are carefully edited and delivered in high resolution.
Do you offer commercial usage rights?
Commercial usage is included with Branding Sessions. Editorial and Portrait sessions may include usage depending on intended use — we’ll review this together before your shoot.
How far in advance should I book?Availability varies, especially during busy seasons. Booking at least 2–3 weeks in advance is recommended.
